I am a PhD student of the Bioinformatics Training Program in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. My current research is focused on identification and characterization of genomic islands in bacteria using comparative genomics. I am a member of the Connotea Bioinformatics Training Program and Brinkman Lab groups.
