Anti quota protest has reached US. Over 500 Indian Americans from the San Fransisco Bay area, mainly professionals and students, held a demonstration. They called the quota as the disturbing trend of using reservation for politics.

So far we have that most of the anti-quota protests are from medicos. Though the engineering students are also unhappy, it is not reciprocated in terms of protests. In fact some top technical schools like IIT Kharagpur have not seen a single protest.
