This enormously useful site is divided into categories for very specific kinds of information. The "Health Information" section provides articles and factsheets by topics, plus access to MEDLINE where you can search through journal article abstracts for information on your health-related topics; MEDLINEplus where you can read articles on specific health topics or drugs, look through dictionaries for medical terms, and view directories of health care practitioners or hospitals; ClinicalTrials.gov includes information about clinical research studies; DIRLINE where you can search for specific health organizations; and search through a catalog of books, journals, and audiovisuals in the NLM collections. In the "Library Services" area, you can search through the NLM collections and catalog, see a list of NLM's databases, find out about document delivery services (paying to have articles and other print documents sent to you), access a list of libraries that participate in the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, see a list of NLM publications, and more. Under the "Research Programs" section are links to NLM's Centers for Research and links to programs divided into categories like in Computational Molecular Biology, Medical Informatics, Digital Computing and Communications, and Digital Library Research.
