WorkingLife was started by five college friends in 2008 on the North Shore of Boston. Looking to help the growing number of Americans struggling with the current economy, the idea was birthed to start a service oriented social network. The founders believed that current technology could be used more efficiently by combining certain elements from today's most popular websites and building them into their one easy-to-use social network. WorkingLife was built from the ground up with the sole purpose of efficiently building a bridge for the gap between work and life. WorkingLife does not subscribe to the sentiment "it's not what you know, it's who you know." We passionately believe that perfect balance between work and life is determined by how you master both who and what you know.

The LLC, or Limited Liability Company, is the newborn entity of pick for both old entrepreneurs and newborn start-ups. The one-person house is existence replaced by the one-memnber LLC.
