Neuron 35 (2), 333 (2002)
The ECP is replenished by SVs endocytosed during stimulation, and this process depends on external Ca2+. In contrast, the RP is refilled after cessation of tetanus by a process mediated by Ca2+ released from internal stores.
Journal of Neuroscience 20 (22), 8315-22 (15 Nov 2000)
cAMP-induced enhancement of transmitter release in the presence of external Ca2+. Together with the previous study without Ca2+ stimulation, the authors concluded that cAMP enhances spontaneous transmitter release by increasing Ca2+ influx (n-syb-independent) as well as by modulating the release mechanism without Ca2+ influx (n-syb-dependent) in wild-type embryos, and these two effects are mediated by PKA encoded by the DC0 gene.
Journal of Neuroscience 19 (7), 2432-41 (01 Apr 1999)
Models are proposed that invoke a special role for n-syb in coupling fusion to the transient, local changes in Ca2+ and an as yet unidentified target of cAMP.
Nature. 409 (6819), 479-84 (25 Jan 2001)

The Journal of neuroscience : the official journal of the Society for Neuroscience. 26 (15), 4004-14 (12 Apr 2006)
First report of LTD in Drosophila NMJ. Learning mutants, such as rutabaga, dunce, and latheo, did not affect LTD.
