The Role of RSS in Science Publishing: Syndication and Annotation on the Web
The authors of this paper will monitor with interest any comments about it posted here.
I'd be interested to know what the authors or other people think about RSS 1.1
We (the authors) think that RSS 1.0 could do with some fixes, but we're not quite sure that RSS 1.1 is the best way to do this.
What are the fixes you think are the most important for 1.0?
I would like the authors to explain how RDF could be made easier to implement and/or explained. If this happened, more people might flock to version 1.0.
Well, joanna, I would have enjoyed “other people’s opinions” like you. As far as I know it work much better on internationalization support and cosmopolitanism is no stranger to Internet, isn’t it. It is a great step ahead from RSS 1.0. What is interesting in this 1.1 is the fact that the guys that worked on it made possible that 1.1 made use of the extension modules.
