I liked the clear statement of the importance of the study.

First, the study adopts a whole genome approach and identifies thousands of highly correlated miRNA-mRNA pairs. Second, the study measures expression levels under endogenous condition and without extremely high or low levels of miRNAs caused by transfection approach. Third, the study correlated miRNAs with their targets as well as downstream genes. ... Fourth, the study identifies several biological processes that are associated with variations in miRNA expression. Lastly, the study results are supported by other publications...
