CiteULike: A free online service to organize your academic papers

When you see a paper on the web that interests you, you can click one button and have it added to your personal library. CiteULike automatically extracts the citation details, so there's no need to type them in yourself. It all works from within your web browser. There's no need to install any special software.

One unique and useful feature: ability to store a PDF file for each article entry. This PDF is kept private and not shared. Big time saver!

Not sure why one would choose to use this over connotea, which seems like it does this and much more. Perhaps I need to look into CiteULike further?

I find this more useful than Connotea because I can enter offline references; easily batch export tagged subsets of my or anyone's library; store pdfs...

It is a site that woks as some others do: blogmarks.net, del.icio.us, furl.net and many others. It is very easy to use, indeed, and all the tags are made public. It’s a great resource for you teens and for all the ones that need social bookmarking.
